Last night I attended the Blogger Event at the new Benito Brow Bar in Topshop, Victoria Square. I’ve always had bushy brows that cannot be controlled so I was very excited to have them tamed. I was greeted with a cupcake and a glass of bubbly (my favourite).
I was a threading virgin and I’ll be honest… I was terrified. I have zero pain threshold and was in public, therefore I had to warn my fellow bloggers to expect tears.
Leah, the Benito Manager, kindly let me be the model for the demonstration to the other gorgeous blogger girls. Poonam was my glamourous Brow Queen and made me feel at ease the whole time by talking me through each step as she worked on the caterpillars I call eyebrows. Poonam asked exactly what I would like to see as a result and made sure my wishes came true.
Note how messy, dull and CURLY my eyebrows are!
Once Poonam had worked her magic she showed me the results. I am beyond pleased with the how tidy my eyebrows are, the shape and the tint! Excuse my red skin! I am sensitive when it comes to threading, however, Poonam used an Aloe Vera Gel (available to buy at Benito Brow Bar) to cool my skin and reduce redness.
My experience with Benito Brow Bar was amazing and I can’t thank Poonam and Leah enough for making me feel comfortable and walking away with the best brows and a treaty goodie bag!
Benito Brow Bar offers walk in appointments which means there is no hassle of waiting weeks to have your eyebrows transformed. You can find the Benito Brow Bar in the accessories department in Topshop, Victoria Square, Belfast. I can’t reccomend them enough. I definitely have #ThatBenitoFeeling
