At just a year old, Zohara have release their third handbag collection, just in time for Autumn. Originating from the North Coast, the creators of the stunning brand take inspiration from the charming scenes found right here in Northern Ireland.
The team invited a number of bloggers and Youtubers to an intimate brunch at the picturesque, Miel et Moi, to the celebrate the launch of the new collection. The Glenarm collection is inspired by the surroundings of the coastal town, including the beautiful Glenarm Castle, the forest and the scenic backdrops. The new range is full of warm colours, new styles and shapes of handbags, and some old favourites from the Ballintoy Collection and the Causeway Collection have returned.
Top 5 Favourites
A difficult choice to make because the collection is filled with gorgeous pieces, but I have narrowed down my 5 favourite bags from the Glenarm Collection.
-
The Walled Garden
A bag perfect for every day wear. Its box style provides a professional look for work, and the versatility of the bag allows it to suit your weekend plans too. The girls from Zohara kindly gifted me The Walled Garden, I’m a very happy girl!
-
The Chelsea
The gorgeous cross-the-body chain and small size makes this bag a go to for Friday nights or Sunday brunch. The super stylish bag has been brought back from the Ballintoy Collection due to its popularity.
-
The Barbican
The working woman handbag. This stunning accessory is big enough to fit a laptop, files and some sneaky shopping you don’t want your other half to see!
-
The Barker
Another cross-the-body bag, this time it’s bigger. The Barker can be adjusted to a shorter, chain strap if you want to change the style for a while if you’re feeling more formal.
-
The Lord & Lady
This new style was a huge hit when we were presented it. The backpack that can change into a long strap handbag; you are really getting your money’s worth with this beauty.
I’m forever talking about moving away, but the inspirations behind Zohara reminded me appreciate the areas of natural beauty that surround us daily in NI.
