Tutorial and Review of Note Cosmetics

One of my favourite drugstore brands, Note Cosmetics, is high quality at an unbelievably affordable price. I was kindly sent more of their products to try, so what better way than a make-up tutorial and review post.

Let’s Begin

Step 1 – start with a clean, fresh face and apply primer

Step 2 – Apply foundation. I mixed Milani 2 in 1 with Maybelline Fit Me as I do most days. I find that mixing these two creates a super silky, full coverage look without being too cakey. I then used the Note Luminous Silk Cream Powder. When I lifted the plastic protector up I was surprised at how creamy it was – I was expecting it to be more of a powder texture. I was pleasantly surprised when I applied it under my eyes, on my forehead and on my chin for that extra coverage. I wouldn’t be one to use cream products because I have oily skin but I really like this product so I’ll continue to use it.

Step 3 – Set your foundation with powder, I swear by Airspun Loose Powder. After setting I carved out my brows. *Please note, I’m in serious need of a trip to my eyebrow queen, LH Beauty. Next, bronze and highlight to sculpt your cheekbones and tan up that face!

Step 4 – Using the light purple shade in the Note Luminous Silk Quattro Eyeshadow as my base colour. I had to tap a lot of product off my brush before applying, but that’s not always a bad thing!

Step 5 – After my base, I used the brown shade on the outer corners of my lids and blended inwards. There was a bit of product dropping on my face but nothing a sweep of my powder brush couldn’t fix.

Step 6 – To complete my look, I finished my eyes with the dark purple on my lower lash line and the white eyeshadow in my inner corners to make my eyes pop, followed by Note Lashcode mascara, one of my absolute favourite mascaras that I use every week.I lined my lips with a Morphe lipliner then finished off the whole look with Note lipgloss. I LOVE this gloss so much, the quality, the fact it lasts for hours and its moisturising ingredients.

Et Voila

Really hope you enjoyed this post!
